“As a part of the community, we try to make a positive impact – and our effort to be environmentally friendly is no exception!” says owner Chris Brockman.
For earth week this year, we decided to reflect on how our office does its part to better the environment. Here are some of our ongoing efforts to stay green at Regal:
Regal is reducing paper waste by using electronic versions of documents whenever it is possible to do so. In the insurance industry, it is tricky to stay away from paper waste as we are constantly sending and receiving documents. However, at Regal, we are proud of our efforts to rely less and less on paper each year. It truly is an incredible difference when we compare our current paper files to those of the past!
We maintain the condition of office supplies so that they may be used for as long as possible. File folders, paper clips, elastics, envelopes, scrap paper – you name it! We never waste the products that we can make further use of.
Our office has a filtered water station where employees can refill their water bottles rather than using disposable ones. It is a great resource to help our office reduce our plastic waste!
We have many easily accessible recycling bins in our office to encourage staff to recycle as much as possible.
While we are happy with our current environmental efforts, we are always thinking about how we can improve for the future. We are excited to continue these efforts and see our progress grow over the years!
