- Do not admit liability or fault
- Exchange information with other parties
- Contact Regal Insurance Brokers Inc. to report your accident or claim at your first opportunity

Tips
Automobile Accidents
The Highway Traffic Act requires all accidents in which there are injuries, damage over $1000 or damage to any highway property to be reported to police.
A hit and run accident must be reported to the police within 24 hours.
It is not necessary to report an accident to the police unless it results in damage of over $1000. This would be taking BOTH vehicles into consideration. However, you must report to the Collision Reporting Centre and exchange "written" information as follows:
Written information to be collected:
- Name and address of drivers
- Driver's license number
- Vehicle Plate Number
- Insurance Company and policy number
- Name and address of owner of vehicles
When reporting to the Collision Reporting Centre, bring the following documentation with you (your driver's license, ownership and insurance liability card).
